Howard F. Manis has been practicing commercial litigation and bankruptcy and insolvency law since his call to the Bar in 1993. His practice consists largely of secured and unsecured debt enforcement for financial institutions and manufacturers and distributors in the sporting goods industry, as well as both plaintiff and defence work on behalf of corporations and private individuals in commercial disputes. He provides legal advice to trustees in bankruptcy, secured and unsecured creditors and bankrupts, and assists in corporate and individual financial restructurings and reorganizations. His practice also includes advising clients on many aspects of franchise litigation, landlord and tenant disputes, employment law and general commercial matters.
Howard has given seminars on a wide range of topics in his areas of practice.
Howard is married with three young daughters and enjoys spending quality leisure time with the four most important women in his life. In his spare time Howard is actively involved in many sports including hockey, baseball and golf.
